4.360 WP Solar Panel for Masjid Al-Muharram Bantul

Al Muharram Bantul Mosque in Kampung Brajan, Bantul Regency, DIY, can now run its programs without fear of power failure. Through the Energy Alms program initiated by MOSAIC or the Muslim Collaboration for Climate Impact, the mosque known as the Garbage Alms Movement got solar panels with a total capacity of 4,360 WP installed on Tuesday (20/6/2023). Meanwhile, education and socialization have been held on Saturday (17/6/2023)

MOSAIC is the initiator of the Congress of Muslims for Sustainable Indonesia which has been initiated since 2021. The collaboration was initiated by LPBI NU, MLH Muhammadiyah, Republika, Purpose, and Pares UGM. In 2022, Enter Nusantara joined MOSAIC, confirming the involvement of young people in collaboration

These solar panels are the result of crowdfunding on the donation platform Kitabisa.com.

From there, the funds raised reached about Rp 85.2 million from the target of Rp 70 million. Al Muharram Bantul Mosque is the second mosque, after the Mosque in Pondok Pesantren Yayasan Al Ma'hadul Islami (YAMI), in Sembalun, Lombok, to get solar panels from the Aldekah Energi program.
